Kodak Black made his thoughts clear on some of his competition during a recent Instagram Live session. In the video posted Thursday, the Florida rapper revealed his opinion of two of his peers: Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Yachty.
"I am not like these other ni**as. I don't even listen to Uzi! He needs a d**k in the booty...," says Black. He's then asked about Yachty. "I don't even listen to Yachty...he ain't been dropping no knowledge..." Hear Black's full comments on the two rappers up top.

 People inside 50 Cents camp are telling us that 50 Cent is ready to break someones neck at Starz! This has to be the first time ever a TV show has had Episodes leaked weeks before they are supposed to come out. Leaked Episodes 8 & 9 are all over facebook. Rumor is that the whole second half of Season 4 has been leaked.
 Steven Hirsch and his Vivid Entertainment empire are always the first to jump on a celebrity sex tape. Just ask Kim Kardashian and Mimi of Love & Hip Hop fame. Well lets add Cardi B & Offset’s name to the list of celebrity sex tapes. Cardi B & Offset were offered $5 Million dollars to release their sex tape thru Vivid Entertainment. Word we got back from both camps is Cardi is with it but Offset is the one who is a little hesistant with releasing the sex tape. Soon as we get more updates we will be sure to pass them along!
 Either Quavo found the hard drive that he lost with ‘Culture 2’ on it, or the Atlanta rap trio Migos is just re-recording everything from scratch! Either way, the project is definitely on the way.
Migos member Offset has recently let it be known that he will be calling out a few rappers on ‘Culture 2’ as well. Whomever Offset doesn’t f-ck with, it will certainly come out on this album. Offset even says that he’s going to call out folks by name! Who do you think will be on the list? Lil Uzi Vert, Joe Budden? Heck maybe even Chris Brown?!  It looks like Nicki Minaj is another rapper that’s incorporating her love for Gospel music into her Hip Hop music!

A few months ago Nicki revealed to her social media followers that she would love to work with Cobbs, and according to a recent snippet that hit the net, her wish came true. I mean Lecrae and Chance The Rapper made some huge waves with their music and gospel inclusion, so we understand Nicki’s choice, especially if it’s authentic.

Long seen as one of the most challenging parts of being an artist, in the modern world it’s quite common to ask if you even need to bother with radio promotion anymore. After all, is it not a bit worn out?  For many independent hip-hop artists, it can be a bit of a nightmare trying to break into the press relations side of the industry.
Many independent artists don’t want to engage with it as they see it as an outdated method of marketing or they might not understand the mechanics behind writing and distributing an effective press release. But like anything in the promotions and marketing world – whether it’s advertising on Facebook or distributing on YouTube – you need to understand why you’re doing it and have a proper plan behind it. Especially if you don’t have some big name company sending all of your information out for you, and doing the marketing in your place, you need to consider the benefits of writing strong press releases.  When Tyga was first questioned by paparazzi about the public spat between former couple Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian, he mostly avoided addressing the situation.

Young M.A. specifically addressed 2016 XXL Freshman cover artists Lil Yachty and Lil Uzi Vert as well as Grammy-winning emcee Kendrick Lamar. “I’m not saying I’m not a fan of ‘the others’ – Lil Yachty or Lil Uzi. That’s their thing, and I think Kendrick that’s his thing,” said the Brooklynite. “I could never knock nobody, but the Lil Yachtys and the Lil Uzis are definitely outweighing the game right now.” |
